Vero Gelato, meaning ‘Real Ice-Cream’ in Italian, is the brainchild of Veronica, an Italian native whose passion for authentic gelato shines through every scoop. Made with natural ingredients like fresh fruits, milk, and even traditional Turkish Salep, Vero Gelato has become a celebrated delight in Istanbul. Our challenge was to translate this rich story and commitment to quality into a visual brand that resonates with both its Italian roots and its Turkish market.

Authenticity at Its Core: The Vero Gelato Story

Vero Gelato, meaning ‘Real Ice-Cream’ in Italian, is a testament to the passionate vision of its founder, Veronica, an Italian native. Operating in Turkey, Veronica crafts each batch of gelato herself, ensuring an unparalleled taste that has garnered fame in Istanbul’s most prestigious areas. The brand prides itself on using only natural ingredients, ranging from fresh fruits and milk to the unique addition of the Turkish milk drink, Salep, offering a distinctive fusion of Italian tradition and local flavor.


Capturing Sweetness: Core Brand Attributes

To truly represent Vero Gelato’s unique offering, we identified a set of key brand attributes: Soft, Timeless, Cute, Attractive, Natural, and Elegant. These keywords served as the guiding principles for our design strategy, ensuring that every visual element would embody the brand’s commitment to quality, its delightful taste, and its sophisticated appeal, appealing directly to ice cream connoisseurs seeking an authentic experience.


The Logo & Color Palette: A Blend of Prestige and Playfulness

Our solution for Vero Gelato’s core brand identity involved creating a minimal yet bold logo. It features a representative symbol of melting ice cream, conveying a timeless and prestigious feel. To complement this, we selected a soft pastel color palette, evoking a sweet, candy-like association. A touch of gold was strategically incorporated to highlight the logo, adding a luxurious and prestigious accent that stands out beautifully, even against the soft pastel backdrop.


Eye-Catching Packaging for a Delightful Experience

For Vero Gelato’s packaging, we developed a simple yet highly eye-catching design.
